Getting to Los Cabos

You can travel to Los Cabos from just about anyway you can imagine: by air, land and sea.

Commercial Airlines

The international airport at Los Cabos (SJD) is serviced from a large number of gateways throughout North America. Following is a list of international carriers. For specific flight information, departure and arrival times, just visit their individual websites or contact your travel consultant.

Private Aircraft

If you’re flying to Los Cabos by private aircraft, just be aware all flight crew and passengers will be required to clear customs and immigration with the proper I.D. and forms upon arrival. If you will be continuing on to other destinations in Baja, visit www.bajabushpilots.com for more information.

Land Travel

Los Cabos is located approximately 1000 miles south of San Diego, CA at the Tip of Baja and can be comfortably driven in 3 – 4 days. Along the way, there are a number of towns and villages offering a variety of accommodations, not to mention long stretches of white, sandy beaches and spectacular vistas for those of you who enjoy road tripping.

Sea Faring

For sea farers who will be arriving from the west coast of the U.S. and Canada, there are a number of large and small marinas that can provide you with food, fuel and shelter along the way. The voyage is considered a “downhill” trip, meaning you’ll be running with the current. Going home, however, it will be “uphill.” Once here in Los Cabos, there are guest slips available for a fee in the Marina Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Los Cabos Marina in San Jose, and in the small marina at La Ribera on the East Cape. For those who travel off the beaten path, even on the water, you can choose from a variety of tranquil inlets and bays to drop anchor, and make yourself at home.
