Mexican Independence is celebrated every September 15th at 11 PM in cities and towns throughout Mexico. In Mexico City, the President rings the historic liberty bell at that hour and waves the Mexican flag, shouting "Mexicanos, Viva Mexico" in the "Grito" ceremonies.
